In April 2006 the Pike County Producers was organized and formed the first Pike County Farmers Market.  This marketing of fresh grown produce is held each Saturday at the Moose Lodge parking lot in Petersburg Indiana, beginning June 24th and running through October.  The intent is to improve and expand the Pike County agricultural programs and provide convenience to healthy, fresh produce directly from farm to consumer.
