The Environmental Advisory Board (EAB)of the Indiana Oil & Gas Association is an integrated alliance of industry, state government and landowners striving for environmental improvement and conservation of the natural resources of Indiana. Founded in 2001, the EAB reviews, evaluates and makes formal recommendations to the In. Dept. of Natural Resources-Div. of Oil & Gas and the Indiana Oil & Gas Association regarding expenditures from the alliance grant and the DNR environmental fund. The board facilitates the integrated input of state regulators, industry and landowner representatives. The board is made up from the oil and gas industry, royalty owners, the Southwest Indiana Brine Coalition, Four Rivers RC&D, and the DNR.
