History of the SWIAC
 

The Southwest Indiana Agri-tourism Council is an organization consisting of a diversified group of business entrepreneurs joining together for the development of a Southwest Indiana Agri-tourism Trail. Their goal is to promote their businesses by forming an agri-tourism trail in SW Indiana, which will provide educational & natural experiences to individuals, families & groups visiting Southwestern Indiana. Some of the agricultural businesses currently represented in the SWIAC include wineries, orchards, bed & breakfast, equine, entertainment, artistry and animals. For information in becoming a member of the SWIAC, please contact Four Rivers or one of the board members listed below.              

MISSION STATEMENT

Develop a tourism product that provides agricultural, historical and natural experiences for visitors to Southwestern Indiana.

OBJECTIVES

  • Promote business
  • Promote agri-tourism
  • Promote non-agricultural quality establishments conveniently located along the agri-tourism trail as part of the overall trail package.
