Four Rivers RC&D is the umbrella agency for many citizen-led projects. From environmental issues such as migratory water fowl protection, watershed restoration, conservation & preservation of farmland and restoration of land damaged during oil, gas and coal extraction, to community improvement/enhancement projects like the Harvest Home Arts & Crafts Show and the Pike Co. Parks Board, the RC&D empowers citizens to make real change in their communities by offering the umbrella of state and federal non-profit status- thereby enabling groups to access grant funding that would be otherwise unavailable to private citizens. As for future projects, if you can envision it, chances are the RC&D can make it a reality! Listed below are some of our active project committees- please note the number of people involved!
